Those markets WITHOUT AN ASTERISK, have been updated for 2032, which you can confirm by paying attention to the year.
For those markets designated AWAITING CONFIRMATIONS _ the info should be pretty reliable as it is based upon what was done in prior years. We have contacted the organizations and will update the info as we hear from the farmers / organizers.
While is one year round farmers markets, many of the farmers markets open in late May, June or early July. We update them when the information becomes available. But if not updated - use the information from last year which is generally indicative of the dates / times / locations for this year.

How To Shop Staten Island Farmers Markets & Green Markets
There are two shopping strategies. One is to go early for best selection, and the other is to go late to get the best prices. Naturally in the beginning of the day farmers have their entire inventory to show you, while late in the day, they may be open to reasonable requests for discounts so that they have less to carry back to the farm.

Due to the 2020 CoVid Pandemic, this market was at first temporarily closed. It remained closed in 2021. As of this post on April 14, 2022, the Whitehall Terminal Green Market appears to have been permanently closed.
CLOSED - TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS: 8 am - 7 pm. Open Year Round when things are normal.
Farmers Market Location: 4 South Street inside the Whitehall Staten Island Ferry Terminal near Battery Park in Downtown Manhattan NYC.

OPEN YEAR ROUND - Saturdays: 8 am - 2 pm. * Note - Winter Hours Jan - April / closes at 1 pm]. Open year round 2022. FYI - Food growing and selling are essential services.
Staten Island Farmers Market Location: At St Mark's Place and Hyatt Street, about 3 to 4 blocks from the Staten Island Ferry Station, in the St. George neighborhood SI.
St. George's Farmers Market Items / Selection. This market includes seasonal fruit, produce, cheese, meat, seafood, baked goods, plants, berries, juice pressed from upstate orchard fruit, tomatoes and other seasonal items. Includes organic products, grass fed beef and wild caught fish.

SATURDAYS - May 7, 2022 - November 19, 2022 - Saturdays from 9 am - 3.30 pm.
THURSDAYS - June 2, 2022 - October 13,2022 - Thursdays from 3.30 pm - 7 pm . *Note - The last two weekends in October the market closes at 6 pm. CSA members can begin picking up their produce at 3 pm.

This Staten Island Farmers Market is Open Year Round by a Grower / Seller
OPEN YEAR ROUND - Monday - Saturday: 7 am - 6.30 pm / Sunday 7 am - 3.30 pm. These are Spring, Summer & Fall hours. Note that the hours may be shortened in the winter and may change for holidays.
Staten Island Farmers Market Location: At 644 Richmond Terrace, between Lafayette and Franklin Avenues, not far from the Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Farmers markets in the New Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island.
Gerardi's Farmers Market Items / Selection. This market includes fruits, vegetables, local honey, flowers, plants, shrubs, and an assortment of gardening and landscaping supplies, as well as holiday items. They have a plant nursery.

This Green Market is Located in the Staten Island Mall Parking Lot
June 11, 2022 - December 24, 2022. Saturdays: 8 am - 2pm. Began going year round in 2019, and went on hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic. At present they appear to have retrenched to a seasonal market.
Staten Island Farmers Market Location: At Marsh Avenue and Ring Road in the Commuter Parking Lot behind Macy's, at 2655 Richmond Avenue in the Heartland Village neighborhood of Staten Island. This is just south of CUNY Staten Island and a bit north of Historic Richmond Town.
Staten Island Mall Farmers Market Items / Selection. This market includes homemade pies, honey, bread, pastries, fruit and vegetables.
Special Services: They accept Cash, SNAP/EBT, Debit/Credit, WIC & Senior FMNP coupons, Healthfirst OTC cards (LIP and CC members only) and Green Market bucks. Composting Collections run from 8.30 am - 1 pm.
