MARCH 2023 - Staten Island Street Fairs, Festivals & Parades SI NYC

  • staten island street fairs staten island nyc stapleton st fairs festivals staten island nycSunday, March 5, 2023 the 58th Annual Staten Island St. Pat's Parade begins at 12.30 pm at Hart Blvd, marching down along Forest Avenue and ending at Jewett. The parade lasts about an hour, but the celebrating continues after the parade. Staten Island street fairs / parades in the New Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island.
  • Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 11 am - 3 pm, starting at Jodys Club at 372 Forest Avenue there's the first Crawl for All St Patricks Day weekend bar crawl. The event is being organized by folks associated with the Pride Center of Staten Island who would like the St Patricks Day parade on Staten Island, to join all other St Patricks Day parades in NYC, by eliminating the discriminatory practice of forbidding people who are both members of Irish and LGBTQ communities, from participating in the parade. Inclusivity rather than exclusivity. Because the Staten Island St Pat's Day Parade continues to lose both audience and participation, the organizers wanted to mitigate some of the St Pat's Parade business losses by local businesses, by organizing the Crawl for All. APRIL 2023 - Staten Island Street Fairs, Festivals & Parades SI NYC

  • Saturday, April 8, 2023 beginning at 10 am and 1 pm, there's Easter at the Mount [Loretto] at 6541 Hylan Blvd in the Charleston neighborbood of Staten Island. Mount Loretto is hosting a couple of Easter Brunches, Egg Hunts & Events which they describe as follows, " ... Enjoy buffet breakfast, music and dancing, then take a professional photo with the Easter Bunny that you can take home. Grab your Easter Basket and hunt in the island’s largest Easter Egg Patch loaded with more than 3,000 eggs plus 10 Golden Eggs filled with special prizes. Two seatings to choose from ...". Easter at Mount Loretto in the Charleston neighborhood of Staten Island.
  • Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11 am - 4 pm, there's the Cottage Row Curiosities at Snug Harbor Cultural Center at 1000 Richmond Terrace Street in the Randall Manor neighborhood of Staten Island. There will be over 40 local vendors selling artisanal goods, food, music, entertainment and information. https://snug-harbor.org
  • On Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9.30 - 11.30 am [garden grounding] and from 12 noon - 3 pm [garden fair], the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art is hosting an Earth Day event followed by a small market / fair. For details see - https://www.facebook.com/TibetanMuseum/
  • Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 12 noon - 4 pm - Outdoor Market / Rain Date is April 30, 2023 - at the Conference House Park at 7455 Hylan Blvd in the Tottenville neighborhood of Staten Island. Items include home decor and trinkets, hand poured candles, sweet treats. From 1 - 3.30 pm there will also be live music. St fairs / art festivals in the Tottenville neighborhood of Staten Island.
  • Saturday and Sunday,April 29 & 30, 2023 from 11 am - 7 pm, Empire Outlets at 55 Richmond Terrace is hosting an outdoor market. The market is comprised of local artists, artisans and craftsmen and women. For details see - https://createdforyouartistsmarket.com.

  • In May 2023 from X - Y pm there's the Staten Island Pridefest. SI Pridefest runs events through the month of May. For details see - https://www.pridecentersi.org
  • NYC ALL 5 BOROS - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 5, 6 & 7, 2023 - Janes Walk - Various art, culture, history and architectural tours throughout all five boros of NYC. Organized by the Municipal Art Society. Not a street fair so much as a streets tour. See https://www.mas.org/events/ for details.
  • NYC ALL 5 BOROS - Sunday, May 7, 2023 first wave beginning at 7.30 am & officially over at 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Ride. It starts between Canal Street and the Battery in Manhattan, depending on the cyclist wave folks are in. And it ends at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. Not a street fair but rather a major cycling event. For details see - https://www.bike.nyc. Did they reverse the course this year? This is NOT a street fair, but rather a city-wide cycling event.
  • Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 9.30 - 3.30 pm - Yankee Peddler Day - At Historic Richmond Town on Staten Island. The event is described as "... Whether you are a serious collector, or are completely new
    to the thrifting experience ... you may just find that hidden piece of Americana that your family will cherish for generations to come ... All proceeds for this event benefit Historic Richmond Town."

  • Wednesday - Sunday, May 10 - 14, 2023 there's an Arts & Crafts Show at the Staten Island Mall at 2655 Richmond Avenue in the Heartland Village neighborhood. The show includes ceramics, glass, metal work, wood, jewelry, painting and photos. Current Mall Hours are Monday-Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 11am-6pm - but vendor times will likely vary.
  • Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 9 am - 3 pm - Yard & Bake Sale at Christ Lutheran Church at 121 Cleveland Avenue in the Great Kills neighborhood of Staten Island. Staten Island street fairs.

  • Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 10 am - 4 pm - The Great Staten Island Lighthouse Hunt. Begins at either the Postcards, which is the name of the Staten Island 911 Memorial, on Bank Street in St. George along the waterfront just west of the SI Ferry, or at the Conference House in Tottenville. The cost is $35 per carload or $15 per bicycle / motorcycle. Teams of three are recommended to drive, navigate and shoot photos.
  • Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 12 noon - 5 pm - North Shore Family Day. This includes dance, yoga, painting, gardening and music, as well as food and items for sales by local merchants / vendors. Free. For details see - https://snug-harbor.org

At Flagship Brewery at 40 Minthorne Street in Tompkinsville neighborhood of Staten Island, within walking distance of the Staten Island Ferry. Tens of thousands of records we've been told, will be there.
  • Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 11 am - 6 pm - Juneteenth Freedom Festival at Snug Harbor Cultural Center at 1000 Richmond Terrace. Entertainment, history, culture & shopping.   • Saturday & Sunday, June 17 & 18, 2023 from 11 am - 6 pm and 11 am - 5 pm respectively - Juneteenth Parade & Freedom Celebration at Tappan Park on Bay Street on Saturday and at Historic Richmond Town on Sunday on Staten Island.   • Sunday, June 6, 2021 - from 11 am - 1 pm - Victory Blvd Merchants Association Restaurant Stroll - Participating restaurants along Victory Blvd between Jewett Avenue and Manor Road are offering a taste of their wares [in 2019 it was for $15 per taste]. The epicenter is at Westcott Blvd and the event includes food, shopping & entertainment. Tickets are available at eventbrite or at Alfonso's Pastry Shop.   • Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 11 am - 4 pm - Independence Day Festival at Historic Richmond Town. At Historic Richmond Town at 441 Clarke Avenue. There's a pinwheel parade, colonial style cooking, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, a talk on railways and some craft beer and food trucks.   • Friday, July 16, 2021 - 116th Annual Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The mass will be held at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Rosebank at 11 am and in the evening there will be simple food available in the grotto field for a donation.
  • In 2019 there was the 116th festival which included food, entertainment, shopping and rides. In 2019 it started with a 9 am parade that preceded the opening mass and a four day festival from Thursday through Sunday that ran from 10 - 6 pm and later. In 2020 it was cancelled because of the pandemic, and this year it's slimmed down. Staten Island street fairs / festivals in Rosebank. Tel 347.204.5203.

  • Friday, July 23, 2021 from 12 noon - 4 pm. Sprinklerfest. At Snug Harbor at 1000 Richmond Terrace. Not a street fair, but there will be 30 sprinklers on the Snug Harbor Lawn for the kids to run through and cool down. NOT a Staten Island street fair / festival at Snug Harbor in the Randall Manor neighborhood of Staten Island.
  • Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 4 - 6 pm. Spotlight Repertoire Theatre presents Fierce & Fabulous Females at the Alice Austen House outdoor on the park grounds. At 2 Hylan Blvd. Theatrical performance and waterfront view of the bridge and harbor. This is a theatrical performance, NOT a Staten Island street fair / festival in Shore Acres next to Rosebank.   • DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING IN 2021 _ Saturday & Sunday, July 27 & 28, 2019 from 10 am to 6 pm. 2nd Annual Ocean Breeze Food Truck Festival. At Midland Beach picnic grounds near the entrance to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk and Beach. Food and waterfront view. AUGUST - Staten Island Street Fairs & Parades nyc

  • NOT RETURNING THIS YEAR / 2021 _ Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 10 am - 5 pm - Civil War at Historic Richmond Town - There's a historic group, Liberty Rifles, that does some historic re-enactment / dialogue of soldier life w/o the firing of the rifles. The museum, as well as about a dozen other buildings dating back from the Civil War back to Colonial times are open for viewing. There's also a gift shop and restaurant on site that will be open. Admission $8 / $6 / $5 kids. This isn't really a street fair in historic Richmond Town so much as a celebration of Staten Island and American history.
  • Saturday & Sunday, August 28 & 29, 2021 from 12 noon - 7 pm - AfricanFest - At Maker Park on 650 Front Street at Thompson Street in the Clifton / Stapleton Heights neighborhoods of Staten Island. This is largely a pan African entertainment event showcasing dance, music and performances of about a dozen different African cultures. While this is primarily a cultural festival, there will also be opportunities to purchase African food, clothing and art. www.africanfestnyc.org.

  • Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 7.30 am - 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Tour - In four staggered waves of riders [last one at 9.20 am] beginning in Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan and ending at 6 pm near the Staten Island Ferry terminal, after winding through 40 miles in all five boroughs. Proceeds go to Bike New York and you may obtain details at www.bike.nyc.
  • August 18 - September 30, 2021 - Cow Parade - At various sites in all five boroughs. The cows will be auctioned September 1 - 30, 2021. Hours and locations vary. This is a long-running tradition featuring 140 artists who sell their creations on the Snug Harbor lawn.

At Mount Loretto at 6481 Hylan Blvd in the Charleston neighborhood of Staten Island [near Prince's Bay & Pleasant Plains]. The event includes food, beer, rides, culture and entertainment. This replaced the Columbus Day Parade celebration in New Dorp starting in 2014. Admission $5 Adults / Kids free.

The fair is organized by the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art, but the fair is held at the Immanuel Union Church at 693 Jewett Avenue in the Lighthouse Point neighborhood of Staten Island. This is a unique place where you'll find some unique arts and crafts.

At Casa Belvedere in the Silver Lake neighborhood near Grymes Hill on Staten Island just south of Tompkinsville.   • Sunday, October 6, 2019 assembling at 8.30 am / departing 10 am - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation aka JDRF Walk - At 2800 Victory Blvd on the Willowbrook campus of SUNY Staten Island. The walk raises money via donations for the foundation to combat type 1 diabetes. Not a street fair, but a good cause. POST FACTO 2019.

  • Friday, November 8, 2019 - There's a day time Veterans Day Remembrance event held at Wagner College at 1 Campus Road in Grymes Hill. The event included speeches and a concert in honor of all veterans.
  • Monday, November 11, 2019 beginning at 9.11 am - Veterans' Day Golf Classic returns for the 11th year at the Silver Lake, La Tourette and Richmond County Country Club golf courses on Staten Island. The breakfast begins at 9.11 am and the first tee time is 10.30 am. The fees are $210 for everything, or $85 / $75 for dinner & cocktails [www.tunnel2towers.org].
